Meet
Randy!!
Randy is the newest member to Freddie and the Maybellines, joining in April of 2005. He comes from a family of musicians, playing music with his parents, grandparents, brother, and cousins. Randy was given his first real drum set at the age of nine. At ten years of age Randy did his first professional “gig”. It’s been a musical journey ever since.
Born and raised on the Cape, Randy has had the opportunity to work and perform with many people and bands from the Cape and Islands area. Most recently, Randy has worked with Hazy, Hot & Humid, The Loch Ness Monsters, The Friends Band, and from time to time, he will play bass guitar for the Nervous Eaters, a popular Boston band. Randy has shared the stage with such names as Rick Danko from “The Band” and Leo Kottke.
In addition to drums and singing, Randy also plays bass guitar and blues harmonica.
Randy and his brother Alan also own and operate their own recording studio, Mad Jack Studios, where they have recorded and produced a few local projects.
Along with music, Randy loves all kinds of sports. He especially enjoys golf, baseball and soccer, and loves to spend time riding his motorcycle.
